The Mourne Motorcycle Club will host the Ulster Solo Motocross Championship at Seaforde Moto Parc on May Day.

This year the Mourne club will be holding the third round of the championship, following the first two rounds at St John’s Point and Loughbrickland.
After two rounds the Expert class is being led by Loughbrickland man Jason Meara, ahead of Ballyclare’s Martin Barr and local Seaforde rider Nathan Green.
Along with the Experts class, there will be County Down men fighting for honours in the Semi Experts, Clubman MX1 and Clubman MX2 classes.
Speaking ahead of the event Mourne Motorcycle Club Chairman Billy McLarnin said: “The track has been perfectly prepared by the owner Norman Green, with a few changes for the riders.
“All we need now is nice weather and a good turnout of riders, to give everyone a day of exciting motocross racing,” he said.
This year the Mourne club is holding the event with support from Connor McKibben at Brennan's Ice Cream & Service Station and Ryan French at The Deli Restaurant @ Brennan's, along with MRA championship sponsors.
On the day bikes will be out on the track from 9.30am, with the first race to start at 11am. Entry to the event will cost £5 for adults, while children go free and car parking is also free.
