Press Release: Knock Club Beach Race Returns to Portrush

Ramore Portrush Beach Race set for October 17–18, 2026

The Knock Club Beach Race will return to Portrush East Strand on October 17–18, 2026, bringing a thrilling weekend of high-adrenaline racing, community spirit, and coastal entertainment to Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast.

Now in its eighth year, the Ramore Portrush Beach Race will feature Adult Solo and Adult Quad competitors. Racing will include Expert, Semi-Expert, Clubman, Veterans, and Sports Solo classes, alongside Expert and Club Quad classes.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of Portrush East Strand, the event offers a unique combination of speed, skill, and seaside entertainment. Spectators are invited to mark their calendars, bring their friends and family, and enjoy a memorable weekend of racing on Portrush Beach.

Racing Schedule

Each class will complete practice runs and four races daily, with each race lasting five to seven laps. Racing is scheduled to begin between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM on both days, tide permitting. Full timings and additional activities will be published closer to the event.

The entry list will be led by Ulster Quad Champion Emma Wray, adding to an exciting field of competitors expected to battle it out on the sand throughout the weekend.

Admission and Event Experience

Admission for spectators is free, and complimentary programs will be available to help visitors follow the weekend’s schedule. With first-aid teams, commentators, riders, supporters, and club volunteers all contributing to the event, the beach race promises an energetic and welcoming atmosphere for motorsport enthusiasts, families, and visitors of all ages.
